My name is Sergey. I’m from St Petersburg. I’m thirteen years old and I study at school № 94.
Do I love my school? I don’t know exactly.
On the one hand, I like it very much. Our teachers are very good. They are very friendly, loyal and kind. Sometimes they are strict but fair. My favourite teacher is Marina Mikhailovna. She is very helpful and she always gives us good advice.
I like to study. My favourite subjects are: Algebra, History and English. Algebra is very difficult but it teaches me to think. History is a very interesting subject. We learn about the history of our country, about famous people and different events. My hobby is travelling and English helps me communicate with people all over the world. At our English lessons we read English texts, sing songs and play games.
I’ve got a lot of friends at school. They have similar interests with me. They cheer me up when I’m upset. I can always turn to them if I have some problems.
But on the other hand, my school isn’t a better place. Some boys are hooligans, they often bully other pupils; there aren’t new computers in our computer studies and it’s very cold in our classrooms.
But on the whole, my school life is happy.
