Тема: Волшебный мир кино.

The magic world of cinema.

Цель урока: систематизация знаний по изучаемой теме.

Задачи урока: 1. Образовательные:

-формировать умение употреблять изученные лексические единицы в речи учащихся;

— формировать навыки высказывания собственного суждения по данной теме.

2. Развивающие:

— развивать навыки монологической и диалогической речи;

— развивать творческие и артистические способности учащихся;

— развивать навыки аудирования.

3. Воспитательные:

— воспитывать у учащихся уважение к культуре своей страны и изучаемого языка:

— воспитывать нравственное качество, как взаимопомощь.

Оборудование и оснащение: компьютер, проектор, презентация, раздаточный материал, отрывки из фильмов.

Ход урока:

Организационный момент.

— приветствие: Good afternoon, girls and boys! I’m very glad to see you. Take your seats, please.

— опрос дежурного: Who is on duty today? What date is it today? What day of the week is it today? Who is absent? Thank you.

II. Основная часть урока.

Речевая зарядка.

Now try to answer my following question: (ученики отвечают на вопросы)

How do people spend their free time?

I think the cinema is the most popular. Cinema has become an important part of our lives. The 20th century may be called the century of the film making. So today I want to invite you to the magic world of the cinema. We will talk about films, watch and discuss them.

Do you know who made the first film?

Yes, you are right. The Lumiere Brothers made it. Now we will play a game named “Changes” (Перемены). You have papers on your table. There is a table. First of all you should read these statements. If you agree with the first statement, you should draw a sign “+” in the first column, if not you should draw “-”. You have two minutes.




The first films were black-and-white.

They were very long.

There was only music there.

People only moved and danced.

I hope you are ready. Now I’ll show you the extracts from the first films by Lumiere Brothers. You should watch them very attentively. In order to focus on the main idea, use the statements from the table.

Now read these statements again. And fill in the third column.

Now compare the columns Before and After. Did your opinions change? Why?

So to know your opinions we should play Single Round Robin. The pupil №1 will answer the question “Did you change your opinion and why?”. Then you are to answer it one by one. Every pupil has 30 seconds.

Now I want one of you to share his opinion with all of us.

Проверка домашнего задания.

So you know that there are many types of films. And your hometask was to learn them by heart. In order to revise them we will do Mix-Pair-Share and Rally Robin. (Смешиваемся – в парах – проговариваем и Rally Robin).

Now stand up, I will turn on the music, you must move and dance and mix. Then I’ll turn off the music, you must stop. Next you should pair up with the pupil who is standing close to you. After that you will play Rally Robin, you will tell each other types of the film. Who finishes first should make “Cheers:.

Now take your seats, take sheet of papers. You will write a dictation, don’t forget to sign up.

Активизация пройденной лексики.

We know that there are many types of films. Now I would like to know your favourite type of film using the game “Corners” (Углы) and “Timed-pair-share”.

You see papers on your table. You should write what kind of film you prefer and why. You have one minute.

Now stand up and go to the corner with the name of your favourite type. Now during 30 seconds you will tell each other why you chose this corner. Then you will tell it to me.

Формирование умений и навыков диалога.

As I see most of you like cartoons. I am sure that the next task will be very interesting for you. So let’s have a rest. I have a cartoon but there is no sound there, so you should make a sound track for it. I need 4 persons.

Активизация пройденной лексики в устной речи.

Now we will play a very interesting game named RAFT (РАФТ). You should make advertisement posters for one of the cartoons: Shreck, Madagascar, Kung-Fu Panda.

Here is a billboard where you will put your posters. Your poster must contain the name, the type and a few words about it.

(Учащиеся делают постеры в течение 5 минут, потом выходят и защищают, после каждой защиты, остальные высказывают свое мнение в письменной форме на стикерах)

Заключительный этап урока.

We came to the end of our lesson, now open your diaries and write down your homework: to write a short report about “Oscar”, award in the cinema industry.
