Problem 1. Student A: imagine that you are a new in your group, meet one of your group—mates (you can introduce yourself, your family). Student B: try to get as much information as possible by asking questions.
Problem 2: Phone conversation between a renter (Student A) and a landlady (Student B) . Student A: imagine that you are going to rent a flat. You are interested in living conditions, address and the price. Student B: your task is to describe this flat and discuss the price.
Problem 3. Skype-conversation between a Russian(Student A) and English (Student B) student. Student A: imagine that you are going to visit Great Britain, you are to get all possible information about the weather there. Student B: try to describe specific weather conditions of your native country.
Problem 4. Dialogue between a waiter (Student A) and a client (Student B). Student A: imagine that you are a waiter at the restaurant. You should offer the menu to the client and take the order. Student B: you should order dishes and pay the bills.
Problem 5. Dialogue between a passer-by and a policeman. Student A: imagine that you arrived to a foreign city and you need to find your hotel, ask the policeman for help. Student B: try to explain to the tourist how to get there.
Problem 6. Journalist interviewing a world known scholar. Student A: imagine that you are interviewing a well –known scholar on TV. Try to get as more information as possible about his work and career. Student B: try to describe your studies, career and work in details.
Problem 7: Dialogue between a patient and a doctor. Student A: imagine that you have a flu. Describe your symptoms to the doctor. Student B: ask your patient about his well-being, and prescribe him some medicine.
